Play For Them Celebration Lab (5.17.25)
Join us on May 17th for "Play for Them," a workshop designed for Loss Parents that reconnects you the practice of play as a way of alchemizing grief into a memorial for our children…with pounds of confetti.
Jelena, the creator of The Confetti Project, and Christina Coleman are joining forces to create an inclusive, safe space to honor Loss Moms or birthing people that have experienced child/infant loss, pregnancy loss, or miscarriage at any stage. We have co-created a 2-hour journey filled with somatic exercises, heartfelt conversations, and community-centered activities that explore how to embrace duality, nurture self-connection, and lean on community while honoring our grief.
This is a chance to experience the healing modality of The Confetti Project in a more intimate setting at Thread Studio. You'll experience the magic of play and wonder while embracing the messiness of grief through confetti and connecting with a community of people ready to do the same. Play for Them will serve as your touch point for accessing community that can support you now and beyond this event.
Afterward, you will have the opportunity to take a video portrait as a digital memento of the experience and write a letter to yourself. You will leave with a special goodie bag.
Date: May 17th, 6:30-8:30pm
Address: Thread Studio — 199 Cook Street #212 Brooklyn, NY 11206 (Bushwick, Brooklyn)
Price: $62
Programming:
Workshop: 6:30-7:30pm

*Refreshments and light bites will be provided.
